An original dramatic play based upon the final hours of the lives of four American ‘noir’ icons: Carl ‘Alfalfa’ Switzer, George ‘Superman’ Reeves, Jack Ruby, and Barbara Payton.
Presented in 4 stand alone mini-acts, Fringe Deaths chronicles the actual circumstances and tragic last moments of four uniquely American luminaries.

1. Fri & Sat Dec 2,3. 7-9 PM 'An evening with Edgar Allen Poe.' Starring Robert Colter, Errol McDowell, et al. Readings of some of the short works of America's master of the macabre, and the creator of the modern detective story. Poe was a tortured literary genius whose words still resonate! Not for the squeamish!
2. Friday Dec 9th, 7-9 pm 'Under Milk Wood' Dylan's Thomas masterpiece about life in a fictional Welsh fishing village. A digitally remastered audio performance by Welsh actor Richard Burton (yes, THE Richard Burton).
3. Saturday Dec 10th, 7-9 pm 'An Evening With Sylvia Plath.' Poems from Ms. Plath's collection 'The Colossus and other poems,' read by local women luminaries. Sylvia Plath, often called the mother of confessional poetry, is regarded by many as one of America's great modern poets. Haunting and honest, her work is even more popular today, 53 years since her suicide at aged 30.
